What is a bedroom?
Generally, the room which is used to sleep
is determined as bedroom. If the room for child or aged person
is utilized to sleep, it is also considered as bedroom.
※There is no need to install alarms in apartments
where they are already installed. It is mandatory to install
the alarm on the corridor if there are more than 5 rooms on
the same level whose each size is 7 square meters or more.

One-storied house

| In case of one-storied house, it is required
to install the alarm in bedroom. |

Two-storied house
|
|
|
|
|
| If the bedroom is located on the
first level of the house, fire alarm box may be installed only
in the bedroom. |
If the bedroom is located on the
second floor, fire alarm box should be installed both in the bedroom
and on the ceiling of the stairs on the second floor. |
If the bedrooms are located both
on the first and second floor, fire alarm box should be installed
in each bedroom and on the ceiling of the stairs on the second
floor. |

Three storied house
|

| If the bedroom is located only on the first
floor, fire alarm box should be installed both in the bedroom
and on the ceiling of the staircase on the third floor. |
If the bedroom is located only on the second
floor, fire alarm box should be installed in the bedroom and on
the ceiling of the staircase on the second floor. |

|
| If the bedrooms are located both on the first
and the second floor, fire alarm box should be installed in each
bedroom and on the ceiling of the staircase on the second floor. |
If the bedrooms are located on the first and
the third floor, fire alarm box should be installed in each bedroom
and on the ceiling of the staircases on the first and the third
floor. |

| If the bedroom is located on the third floor,
fire alarm box should be located in the bedroom and on the ceiling
of the staircases on the first and the third floor. |
If the bedrooms are located on the second floor
and the third floor, fire alarm box should be installed in each
bedroom and on the ceiling of the staircases on the second and
the third floor. |
